EARS Independent Advocacy Service (SCIO)
EARS provides independent advocacy to people living in the Lothians.
We can:
assist people to speak up and ensure their voices are heard
provide accessible information so people can make informed choices
enable people to gain control over their situations and lives
help people to understand and protect their rights
listen, hear, respect and act with only that person in mind
We provide independent advocacy to the following groups of people:
West Lothian:
Older people (65+)
Adults (16+) with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
Adults (16+) with a diagnosed learning disability and/or autism
Midlothian:
Older people (65+)
Adults (16+) with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
East Lothian:
Older people (65+)
Adults (16+) with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
Edinburgh:
Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
